Curriculum

    • Divya Public School (Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education) offers a wide range of academic choices.
    • The School is structured on three levels

                             i) Primary Level from Classes I-V and Pre-primary classes.
                             ii) Middle level from classes VI-VIII
                             iii) Senior Level from classes IX-XII

    • The curriculum encourages students to develop an understanding of key concepts and ideas. Concept teaching is the base of the learning and teaching process in the school. The school has introduced projects, activity oriented contents at the middle level.
    • Students are encouraged to be independent learners and engage in hands on learning experiences. The teaching process is facilitated by different labs . i.e Sciences, English language, Mathematics and Social Science etc.
    • The Subjects offered are grouped under the following departments English, Hindi, Science, Social Sciences, Mathematics, information Technology, Music, Drawing, Physical Education.
    • Secondary Level subject are offered for class (IX)

                           i) Language I English communicative.
                           ii) Language II Hindi (A)
                           iii) Science
                           iv) Mathematics
                           v) Social Science
                           vi) Additional Subject. Information Technology.

  • Senior Secondary Level Subjects are offered for Class XII

          Science Stream 

          Compulsory Subjects: English core, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. 

          Elective Subject: One out of three – Hindi, Physical Education and Computer Science.

          Commerce Stream

          Compulsory Subjects: Accountancy, Economics, Business studies, English Core etc. 

           Elective Subject: One out of three i.e Hindi, Physical Education and Computer Science.

  • After Class X students are not automatically selected of their chosen stream. It will be counted through their competence and merits.
